The Perfect Solution to Prevent Roadbase Cracking and Deformation - Plastic Geogrid
Unidirectional stretched geogrid is a high-strength geosynthetic material.It is widely used in fields such as embankments,tunnels,docks, highways,railways,and construction.

Its main applications are as follows:

Reinforcing the roadbed,it can effectively distribute dispersed loads,improve the stability and bearing capacity of the subgrade,and extend its service life;

It can withstand greater alternating loads;

Prevents subgrade deformation and cracking caused by the loss of subgrade materials;

Enhances the self-supporting capacity of the fill behind retaining walls,reduces earth pressure on the retaining walls,saves costs,extends service life,and lowers maintenance expenses;

When combined with the shotcrete anchoring construction method for slope protection,it can not only save 30%–50% of investment but also shorten the construction period by more than double;

Adding geogrid to the subgrade and surface layer of highways can reduce deflection,minimize rutting,delay the appearance of cracks by 3 to 9 times,and reduce the thickness of the structural layer by up to 36%;

It is suitable for various types of soil without the need for sourcing materials from elsewhere,saving labor and time;

Simple and convenient construction, significantly reducing construction costs.

Regarding the classification of plastic geogrids:

During the manufacturing process of plastic geogrids,the polymer molecules undergo reorientation and alignment through the heating and stretching process,strengthening the bonds between molecular chains and thereby enhancing their strength.The elongation rate is only 10%–15% of that of the original sheet.If anti-aging materials such as carbon black are added to the geogrid,it can exhibit durable properties such as resistance to acids,alkalis,corrosion,and aging.

Bidirectional Plastic Stretched Geogrid

Bidirectional geogrid is made from polymers through processes such as extrusion,sheeting,and punching,followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching.This material exhibits high tensile strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions.This structure provides an ideal interlocking system in the soil for effective force bearing and dispersion,making it suitable for large-scale permanent load-bearing foundations.

Unidirectional Plastic Stretched Geogrid

Unidirectional geogrid is produced by extruding polymers into thin sheets,punching regular mesh holes,and then stretching them longitudinally.This process aligns the polymer molecules into a linear orientation,forming a uniformly distributed,high-node-strength oval mesh structure.This structure possesses high tensile strength and tensile modulus.
